Hill came to the Cor- vette team from Cadillac, where he was the engineering program manager and chief engineer on the Allante. He hit the ground at warp speed in 1992 on the Cor- vette program, and the results of his efforts are before you in the pages of this magazine. In the words of Michael Antonidc: "Com- pared to the tenures of the previ- ous two chief engineers, Hill has been in the position a short while. But he has made his mark. The fu- ture of the Corvette is in his hands, and it has never looked better." 107
